A new version of the CircuitGear software has been released. Version 1.18 features several bug fixes, a couple new features, and a brand new usb-serial connection scheme. Visit the downloads section to get the software.

In recent months, we have migrated all Mac OS X software installers for current products to easy-to-use DMG installers. Users can now download the DMG, open it, and drag the software to their applications folder to install the software. No command line required!

A new application note has been added in which the Syscomp CGR-101 CircuitGear is used to check out the health and operation of a classic 5-tube AM rable radio from the 1950's.

A new application note has been added which contains troubleshooting and installation information for Windows 7 machines. We have discovered that some device drivers can interfere with Syscomp instruments in Windows 7. This short application note provides troubleshooting and work-around information.

A new application note entitled Buffer Amplifier Design has been added to our application notes section. In this note we describe methods of increasing the output current of a signal generator. These notes apply specifically to the Syscomp CGR-101 CircuitGear (figure 1) andWGM-201 Advanced Waveform Generator, but will be useful with any signal generator.

selection buttons to the CircuitGear graphical user interface. As he
shows, it's a 'cut and paste' operation followed by some minor edits.
