Software Contributions

Software Port to the Sharp Zaurus

John Foster, a colleague in the UK, has ported the oscilloscope software to a Zaurus SL-C3000 PDA. John has done a very nice piece of work with all the essential functionality of the DSO-101 software in a tiny package. It even runs in portrait and landscape screen mode with the same waveform resolution as the original software.

John's screen images, description of the GUI, code download and the installation instructions are here:

Wavemaker

An arbitrary waveform for the WGM-101 can be created by a variety of methods.
John Foster has contributed Wavemaker, a waveform drawing program, available here.

Get Tcl/Tk

Thinking about developing software in Tcl/Tk? We recommend the ActiveTcl distribution from ActiveState for Windows, Linux and Mac.
