The Weather Station Project
This is a 250-page textbook that was developed for an electrical engineering laboratory on instrumentation techniques. The book provides the theory and develops designs for temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed and air-pressure instruments.
This material will be of interest to those designing weather station instruments. It also provides a vehicle for teaching analog and microprocessor system design at a university or college.
At Ryerson University, students use this material to construct a microprocessor-based weather station instrument. They design the instrumentation circuits, build hardware, write microprocessor software and calibrate the instruments. An example lab curriculum is included in the text as Chapter 10. The Weather Station currently uses the MPP Board microcomputer, but other microcomputers are possible.

Microprocessor Mobile Robot Lab
These are teaching materials we have developed to support a complete 13 week microprocessor course on the 68HC11 microprocessor, based on the eebot mobile robot and the MPP Board microcomputer.
